Miscellaneous masterpieces : themes and variations on several subjects, among them Concord history and the museum profession / David B. Little. 1961-1986.

Little served as Registrar of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 1946-1967; later as Director of the Essex Institute, Salem, Mass. This vol. contains essays, speeches, magazine articles written by Little 1961-1986. The author assembled and made five photocopies of the collection in 1986. Includes, in part, "Cruising the Concord," published in New England galaxy (spring 1967); "Centennial breakdown at Concord April 19, 1875," published in New England galaxy (fall 1962); "The nineteenth of April," part of which was published in American heritage (April 1972); "Concord celebrations 1824-1875," presented as part of Concord lecture series sponsored by Concord Antiquarian Society, 1974; essays on art galleries and museums.
